Is There A Cure For Genital Warts?
What are genital warts and why are they so dreaded a condition? This is because this is one of the most common and easily contacted sexually transmitted diseases (STD). The genital warts are the result of a viral infection and the virus that causes this condition is known as the human papillomavirus or HPV. This is a very stubborn virus, which is very easily contactable and which can stay dormant in a person for about one year, time in which the infected person can pass it on to as many people as he or she come into contact sexually.
In fact, this virus could also be contacted through sharing of towels, wearing an infected person’s underwear, sharing bath accessories, etc. This is why it is very important that a person is careful about his or her personal hygiene when the sexual partner is not fully known (and the relationship is not monogamous).
